How to decide on lunch in three minutes
Three simple rules to cut down the daily lunch debate, and the fastest way to decide with Gollajuke.
Why deciding takes so long
You can't decide because there are too many options. There are dozens of places near the office, everyone says "anything is fine", yet every suggestion gets a "hmm, not that." The more choices you have, the more tiring the decision becomes, and you end up at the usual place again.
Instead of hunting for the perfect dish, it's much faster to cross out what won't work and narrow down to a few candidates.
Set just three rules
First, remove what you can't or don't want to eat today: what you had yesterday, cuisines you want to skip (say, fried food), and ingredients you're allergic to.
Second, decide how hungry you are. Just deciding whether you want something light before afternoon meetings, or something filling because dinner will be late, cuts the options nearly in half.
Third, set a budget cap. A single number like "up to ₩10,000" stops you from agonizing over expensive dishes.
The Gollajuke way
Under Leave out, remove yesterday's meal and cuisines you don't want. Under Match me, choose only your hunger and budget, then tap Pick 3 for me. If you're unsure about mood and company, leave them on Any.
The three picks come from different cuisines, so they're easy to compare. If you don't like one, tap Something else and choose a single reason to swap it right away.
Still can't decide?
Pick the one you mind least. Deciding now matters more than finding the perfect meal. Mark it as eaten and the same dish won't be suggested for two days, so tomorrow naturally brings something different.
