🍜 Asian
Asian here gathers Vietnamese (pho, bun cha, banh mi), Thai (pad thai, tom yum, curries), Indonesian and Malaysian (nasi goreng, laksa), Indian (curry, biryani) and Middle Eastern (kebab, falafel) dishes.
They use plenty of herbs, spices, fish sauce and coconut, so they're a great pick when you want flavors different from Korean or Japanese food.
Tips for choosing
- Pho and bun cha have light broth or noodles and are easy to eat. Curries and biryani are hearty.
- Tom yum, som tam and green curry are quite spicy. If you avoid heat, try massaman curry or khao man gai.
- Fish sauce, shrimp paste and peanuts are often hidden in these dishes. Check carefully if you have those allergies.
